Spied this cool accessory commercial unit (ACU) for sale in Portland, Ore., on Loopnet. It’s being promoted as home to “an upscale barber shop, wellness center, and a counseling practice on a busy corner lot, this is a stabilized asset with long term tenants” with a potential for food carts. 

Having a mix of different businesses in ACUs can create a dynamic and vibrant environment as a property but can also help foster a sense of community and engagement, and can help revitalize neighborhoods by filling vacant spaces, increasing foot traffic, and stimulating economic growth.

ACUs seem to be being “rediscovered” more frequently these days and I’m all here for it.
